What a Catch, What a Dish

by mjmichelle @ Monday, 21. May, 2007 - 03:06:25 pm

A friend of mine has just started ‘seeing’ someone.

What are a girl’s priorities when it comes to men these days?  I think the following totally sums it up.

All I know about the new man is that he used to be a chef and he likes a clean kitchen!

This translated into female speak means ‘brilliant’ - she won’t be cooking each time they eat together, as he doesn’t have the excuse that he can’t cook!  And even better, he’ll tidy up after himself.  Fantastic!!

Just one problem - she'll be as big as a house eating all his lovely cooking!!! LOL ;)

Don't all mean cook and clean up after themselves - are you now living on another planet or started writing fiction FF? : )

Would the women of blog land like to take a vote on this notion?

SpacePenguin - There is that, although she could always get him to cook low fat meals. Poor chaps, they just can't win can they?! : )

Dare I stick my head above the parapet and say "I blame the Mothers"? oops!

That said I have four brothers who have turned out alright so there are some exceptions - good old Mum!

Phew - I'll now dive for cover - bye

Absolutely, I blame all mothers!

Erm, actually, I take that back. My 17 year old daughter can't cook anything other than beans or spaghetti on toast!

Wow, just think what the next generation of marrieds are going to be like if not one of them can cook!! Scary thought?!
